THE LEGEND OF IRELAND’S MAGIC HARP

A lovely Irish lass who loved her father lived in the misty hills of Ireland, a long, long time ago.

One day she went to fetch some wood, but she did not return soon.

She was worried and she cried, but a little band of leprechauns came by.

They asked if they might have a look at her long and golden hair, then they tied the silken strands across a crooked limb with care.

So they made a magic harp and when the girl touched each strand, the music led her to her father's home across the misty land.

To this day the harp remains a symbol of the blessings of the home the Irish dearly love.
